Parts like charging ports

Charging ports are among the most common parts to repair. They break from plugging in the charger repeatedly and eventually stop working properly. For an amount that, in many cases, does not exceed 10 euros, the problem will be solved. Nowadays, this part is less frequently replaced since MicroUSB connectors have been replaced by USB-C, phones are much less prone to this type of issue. Thus, the lifespan of Samsung Galaxy phones is extended.

What are the flex cables of Samsung Galaxy?

In many articles, you will see that we mention - with the flex cable, with the flex, watch out for the flex. It is a type of plastic cable containing a thin layer of copper (usually). It is a flexible circuit board, hence its name.
Any part you handle that contains this type of cable is fragile and should be handled with care. Our advice: do not twist it more than necessary and do not bend it more than 90 degrees. They are designed to be bent, but there should be some play in the bend. If you try to bend it like a sheet of paper, the inner cable will break.

How important is the battery?

We do not work with original batteries, but with compatible batteries, and it has taken us many years to find a brand that can guarantee good longevity and optimal safety. For this reason, if we do not yet have the battery for your Samsung Galaxy smartphone, know that this is the reason. We need to test and ensure that the battery model is of the required quality.
On the other hand, if you are doing a repair, all Samsung phones have a particular feature (okay, maybe not all, but many. And it is so important that we say all to be sure): Before replacing a screen of this brand, you must turn off the phone and remove the battery. When we started, it happened to us that a screen that had passed all our tests did not work once installed. We discovered that this happened when we did not remove the battery. It seems that there was some sort of energy left that damaged the touch. Since then, we warn our customers. Please, remove it.

Will I need accessories to repair it?

Definitely yes. You will need at least precision screwdrivers (which are not usually found at home, by the way). Many of our parts (usually from 20-25 euros) come with a free repair kit. Cheaper parts usually do not include it, and you will need to purchase it separately.
Here is what you will need: flat, star, and torx screwdrivers. You will also need a pin to remove the SIM card on some models. A suction cup is very useful for detaching the screen. They are usually glued with adhesive, and it is difficult to remove them, but with a suction cup, it becomes easier.
Guitar picks (like those used to play guitar) are recommended (they are included in our kit), and if you don't have them, some people use cards from a classic card game (but don't expect to play with them again).
Finally, you will need adhesive (if the screen does not include it - most do). This adhesive should be double-sided and very thin. As you can imagine, we also have it. But if you want to know if your part includes adhesives, please ask us.

Can static electricity damage a screen?

Not only can it, but it is something that can easily happen. The touch is extremely sensitive to this. You have probably already removed a sweater and heard static sparks. Then imagine you touch the touch screen connector. And there you go! We can assure you it won't work. So, pay close attention to these details.

What other parts are important and can be replaced?

Other well-known parts are the back cover. Is there a part of the phone that suffers as much from the effects of time? Yes, this part can be replaced and is also very economical. Most cost around 10 euros or less.
Another part is the camera, which is usually cheap except for high-end phones. Do not expect a super deal either. And if somewhere they sell it to you at a ridiculous price, be cautious.
