The TCL 501 is registered under the model code T433D, and TCL’s European product listing also includes the T433E variant as part of the same model. In commercial product references, this code is extended with configuration and colour suffixes, for example T433D2ALCA112 for the 32 GB black version. If your phone’s code starts with T433, you’re in the right category.
To check this on the phone itself, go to Settings and open the phone information section, where you’ll find the commercial name and model. If the device won’t start, check the label on the original box. Carry out this check before ordering the screen, as TCL’s 50x range includes phones with almost identical names and non-interchangeable parts:
- TCL 501 (T433D / T433E): 6 inches, 540 x 1092 resolution and a 156.5 x 74.9 x 9.7 mm body.
- TCL 502 (T432J): also 6 inches, but with a 480 x 960 panel at 90 Hz and a larger body measuring 159 x 78 mm. Due to its dimensions and format, its screen and back cover are not compatible with the 501.
- TCL 505: 6.75-inch screen at 90 Hz and dual rear camera, so it doesn’t share a screen or back cover with the 501.

One screen quality, OEM: what the factory panel needs to match
The original TCL 501 panel is a 6-inch IPS LCD with a qHD+ resolution of 540 x 1092 pixels, an 18:9 aspect ratio and a standard 60 Hz refresh rate. It doesn’t feature a high refresh rate or any additional screen-related features, so the replacement only needs to reproduce the image and touch response. This makes choosing one simple: the important thing is to make sure the part matches the correct model.
The OEM complete screen compatible with TCL 501 comes with the LCD and touchscreen already assembled, so one part can fix both cracked glass and a damaged image. Factory finish in Black: the Original back cover

The original back cover for TCL 501 in black is the factory part, with the same fit and finish as the one supplied with the phone. Will I lose face unlock if I replace the screen?
