In this section, you’ll find the parts available for the TCL 50 5G, TCL’s entry-level model launched in 2024 with a 5010 mAh battery and a sealed body with factory IP54 protection. We currently offer two batteries with reference TLP049DA and an Original rear cover, for both users repairing their own device and repair shops looking for clearly referenced parts. Before buying, check the model code, as the TCL 50 family includes several variants with very similar names.
T613K or T613P: how to check that you have a TCL 50 5G
The TCL 50 5G is sold under two model codes. T613K is the version distributed in Europe, and in shops you’ll find it with full commercial codes such as T613K-2ALCA112. T613P is the Latin American variant: in Peru and Argentina, it has also been sold with 6 GB of RAM and 256 GB, and Argentina has a T613P1 variant marketed as the TCL 50 5G Lite.
To check the model on the phone, go to Settings > About phone, where you’ll find the device name and model. The full commercial code is usually also shown on the box label. If the code starts with T613, you’re looking in the right category.
Note that related models share similar names but not the same casing:
- TCL 50 SE: it is around 168 mm tall, weighs 195 g and supports 33 W charging, compared with the TCL 50 5G’s 164,1 x 75,1 x 8,3 mm, 183,5 g and 18 W.
- TCL 50 XE 5G, TCL 50 XL 5G and NxtPaper editions: these are different devices with their own codes, despite their similar names.
Which replacement part to fit in your TCL 50 5G, and what quality to choose
Two 5010 mAh batteries with reference TLP049DA
The TCL 50 5G’s original battery is a 5010 mAh lithium-polymer battery that is not user-removable. Its reference, TLP049DA (with variant TLP049D9), is also used in the TCL 40 NxtPaper 4G, so this category offers two alternatives with the same capacity:
- OEM TLP049DA TLP049D9 battery for TCL 50 5G: OEM quality, listed specifically for this model and bearing both factory references. This is the higher-grade option for anyone looking for a part closest to the original.
- Compatible Premium TLP049DA 5010 mAh battery: Premium quality, listed for the TCL 40 NxtPaper 4G with the same TLP049DA reference. It is usually the more affordable alternative and suits high-volume repairs or tighter budgets.
Before ordering, check the reference printed on the battery you’re removing: if it says TLP049DA or TLP049D9, these two parts are suitable. We haven’t found any TCL documentation mentioning battery pairing with the board on this model, but there’s also no evidence that the system displays battery health information with a new cell, so don’t expect to see this information in the settings.
An Original rear cover for a unibody body
The TCL 50 5G has a closed unibody design, and TCL’s documentation states that the cover is not designed to be opened by the user. It isn’t a snap-on cover: it is glued to the chassis, so replacing it requires removing it and resealing it with new adhesive. This is a routine repair for a shop; for an individual, it requires opening tools and some patience.
The Original rear cover for TCL 50 5G is the only option for this part in the catalogue. As an Original quality part, it is manufactured to the exact dimensions of this model. Check the product listing to see which elements are included, such as the camera lens, so you know whether you’ll need to transfer any parts from the old cover. Also bear in mind that the factory IP54 rating depends on the original seal and cannot be assumed to remain intact after opening the phone.
What the TCL 50 5G shares with its siblings, and what it doesn’t
The battery is the part most widely shared across the family: reference TLP049DA is used in both the TCL 50 5G and the TCL 40 NxtPaper 4G, with the same capacity. If your repair shop handles both models, the same reference works for both, as long as you check the code printed on the original battery.
The rear cover, however, is not interchangeable with the TCL 50 SE: that model is around 4 mm taller and slightly wider, so its cover won’t fit the 50 5G even though the design is similar. Always order the cover specifically for the model with a T613 code.
The TCL 50 5G’s fingerprint reader is on the side of the phone, not the rear. So replacing the cover won’t affect fingerprint unlocking, and there’s no biometric sensor to reconfigure after the replacement.

Is the TCL 40 NxtPaper 4G battery compatible with the TCL 50 5G?
Both models use the TLP049DA 5010 mAh reference, which is why the Premium battery listed for the 40 NxtPaper 4G is available here. Even so, check the reference printed on your battery before buying.
Does my Latin American TCL 50 5G T613P need the same parts?
The T613P is the same TCL 50 5G sold in other markets and also has a 5010 mAh battery. As there are different configurations, including the T613P1 Lite variant, check the battery reference and compare your cover with the product photos before ordering.
Can I fit the TCL 50 SE rear cover?
No. The 50 SE is around 168 mm tall, compared with the TCL 50 5G’s 164,1 mm, so its cover won’t fit. Always use a cover specifically made for the 50 5G.
Will it remain water-resistant after replacement?
The TCL 50 5G leaves the factory with an IP54 rating against dust and splashes. This protection depends on the original seal, so it cannot be guaranteed after opening the phone, even if you use new adhesive.
