In the United States, it’s sold as SM-F766U (carrier) and SM-F766U1 (unlocked), and there are also regional variants such as SM-F766N and SM-F766W. They all share the F766 root, which is the reference shown in the listings for these spare parts.
To check the model on your phone, go to Settings > About phone and look up the model number, which always begins with SM- on Samsung devices. If the phone won’t turn on, look for the code on the box or on the SIM tray label on the original packaging.
Don’t confuse it with the Galaxy Z Flip7 FE (SM-F761B), which launched at the same time and looks quite similar. On this model, the FlexWindow takes up the upper half of the rear, so the glass cover only covers the lower half. The rear glass is Gorilla Glass Victus 2 as standard and is bonded to the frame.
You won’t need a laser: applying heat softens the adhesive, allowing the cover to be removed in one piece, making it one of the easiest parts to replace on the device. Apply new adhesive when fitting it. Even so, the factory IP48 protection can’t be guaranteed once the phone has been opened.

Can I remove the inner screen protector?
We don’t recommend it. The protector is factory-fitted and protects a flexible glass layer that scratches very easily. If it comes loose, it should be replaced rather than using the phone without it.
Is it difficult to replace the Z Flip 7 battery?
