If the code starts with SM-S942, you have a Galaxy S26; if it starts with SM-S948, you have an S26 Ultra. Both have a different screen size and battery, so their parts won’t fit the Plus.
The processor varies by market: units in the United States, China and Japan use Snapdragon 8 Elite Gen 5, while the rest, including Europe, use Exynos 2600. The S26+ features a 6.7-inch Dynamic AMOLED 2X panel with LTPO technology, which adjusts the refresh rate between 1 and 120 Hz, protected by Gorilla Glass Victus 2. The ultrasonic fingerprint reader sits beneath the panel and relies on the thickness and composition of the front assembly to read your fingerprint correctly.
The original Service Pack complete screen for Galaxy S26+ is the replacement supplied by Samsung to its service network. As an Original quality part, it retains the adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, factory brightness and physical compatibility with the ultrasonic sensor. Before buying, check the product details to see whether the assembly includes a frame, as this affects the fitting process and what you’ll need to transfer from the old part.
The Galaxy S25+ screen is the same size, but Samsung changed the glass and other module components in the new generation. It’s therefore not a suitable equivalent: always order the part for the S947.
EB-BS946ABE reference and 4900 mAh capacity
The S26+ battery has a typical capacity of 4900 mAh (4755 mAh rated) and Samsung reference EB-BS946ABE. Don’t confuse it with the standard S26 battery, which has a different code and size. The 4900 mAh EB-BS946ABE battery compatible with Samsung Galaxy S26+ is a Premium quality part: a compatible replacement with the same stated capacity that is generally cheaper than Samsung’s Service Pack.
The battery is secured to the chassis with adhesive, so it’s best to have new adhesive strips ready for fitting. As for the software, we haven’t found official documentation confirming what notification One UI displays on this model when a non-original battery is installed, so we can’t guarantee how it will appear in the battery settings.

The back cover is made of Gorilla Glass Victus 2 bonded to the chassis. No laser is needed, but heat is required, and the cover must be carefully prised off little by little all around the perimeter, taking particular care near the cameras. This is a medium-difficulty replacement that requires new adhesive to ensure the cover closes properly.

Ultrasonic fingerprint sensor, bonded glass and IP68: what changes when opening a Samsung Galaxy S26+
The most delicate component is the ultrasonic fingerprint sensor. On Galaxy S phones with this sensor, a calibration notification may appear after replacing the screen, and Samsung’s service centre performs this adjustment using its own tools. At the very least, it’s worth deleting the registered fingerprints and adding them again, and avoiding thick screen protectors, which can interfere with reading.
The original IP68 rating can’t be guaranteed once the device has been opened, as both the screen and back cover rely on adhesive seals. If the customer needs water resistance, replacing the adhesives is essential, although this doesn’t guarantee the same level of water resistance.

Can a Galaxy S25+ screen be fitted to the S26+?
It’s not recommended. Although the dimensions match, Samsung changed the glass and other parts of the module in the S26+. Order the part for model SM-S947.
Will the fingerprint reader work after replacing the screen?
With an original screen, the sensor is physically compatible, although it may need calibration. If it still doesn’t work after registering the fingerprints again, calibration must be carried out by an authorised service centre.
Will the standard Galaxy S26 battery fit?
No. The standard S26 uses a different reference and a different size. For the Plus, you need the EB-BS946ABE 4900 mAh battery.
