The A57 went on sale in March 2026. It has a 6.9 mm body and weighs 179 g, with Gorilla Glass Victus+ on both sides, an aluminium frame and an IP68 rating. As the design is so precisely fitted, it is best not to use parts from models that look identical at first glance.
SM-A576B, SM-A576U1 and other codes: how to tell your Galaxy A57 from the A56
All A57 versions start with SM-A576; only the suffix varies by region. In Spain, the most common models are the SM-A576B/DS (dual SIM) and the SM-A576B. Outside Europe, you will find the SM-A576U1 (United States, unlocked), the SM-A576W (Canada), the SM-A576Z (Southeast Asia and Oceania), the SM-A576Q (Japan) and the SM-A5760 (China). The model is only available in a 5G version, so you do not need to choose between 4G and 5G parts.
To check your code, go to Settings > About phone and check the model number, or dial *#06# on the keypad. It is also shown on the side label of the original box. If the code starts with SM-A576, you are in the right category.
The most common mix-up is with the Galaxy A56 (SM-A566B). Both have a 6.7-inch screen, but the A57 measures 161.5 x 76.8 x 6.9 mm, while the A56 measures 162.2 x 77.5 x 7.4 mm. The A57 also has narrower bezels: 1.5/1.5/2.5 mm compared with 2.2/2.0/3.3 mm. Because of these differences, the screen and back cover are not interchangeable between the two models.
Original, Premium or OEM: which part to fit in your Samsung Galaxy A57
A 120 Hz Super AMOLED+ front with an under-display fingerprint reader
The A57 comes with a 6.7-inch Super AMOLED+ panel with FHD+ resolution (2340 x 1080) and an adaptive refresh rate of up to 120 Hz. The optical fingerprint reader is located beneath the lower part of the panel, so its performance depends on the screen fitted to your phone.
The Premium compatible complete screen for Samsung Galaxy A57 lets you replace the front with a compatible part. It is usually cheaper than an official service replacement part. While the phone is still open, check that the touchscreen responds correctly, and test the brightness and 120 Hz refresh rate. Register a fingerprint too. Also check the product listing to see whether the screen includes a frame, as this affects installation time and the adhesive you will need.
Bonded rear glass and separately replaceable camera lenses
The A57's back is made of glass bonded to the frame. You will need to heat it to remove it and apply new adhesive when fitting the replacement. Fortunately, the camera glass can be replaced individually, so a broken lens does not mean you have to replace the entire cover. There are three options:
- Original complete back cover with camera frame: Original quality, with the camera frame already integrated. Useful when the impact has also damaged that area.
- OEM back cover for Galaxy A57: OEM quality and generally the cheapest option. Available in Light Blue, Navy Blue, Grey and Purple.
- Original rear camera lens and frame: for when only the camera glass is broken and the back cover is still in good condition.
Before choosing the OEM cover, check its product listing to see whether it includes the camera frame. If it does not, you will need to reuse yours or also purchase the lens and frame part.
Original quality cameras and smaller components
For the camera assembly, you can choose the original 50 MP rear main camera, which has optical image stabilisation (OIS) in the A57. The 5 MP rear macro camera is listed under the Galaxy A36 5G. The A57 also has a 5 MP macro camera, but check compatibility in the product listing before ordering it.
The other parts are also Original quality: the power and volume button flex cable, the fingerprint sensor with integrated flex cable, the Galaxy A57 USB charging port and the original main speaker. As these are original parts, you do not need to check whether their quality is equivalent. You only need to confirm that your code is SM-A576.
Optical fingerprint reader and IP68 sealing: what affects each Galaxy A57 repair
With previous A series generations featuring an optical reader, it has been found that the system may require fingerprint sensor calibration after the panel is replaced. This calibration is carried out using a Samsung-only tool available exclusively to its service network. For this reason, it is not possible to guarantee how the fingerprint reader will perform with a compatible screen. If the customer uses the fingerprint reader frequently, explain this before carrying out the repair.
The IP68 rating depends on the seals and adhesives on the screen and back cover. Opening the device compromises this water resistance. Once opened, water resistance depends on the newly applied adhesive and the condition of the seals, so it should not be promised. Otherwise, this is a fairly straightforward model to work on: the internals are secured with 18 standard Phillips screws and no special tools are required.

Can I fit a Galaxy A56 screen in the A57?
No. Although both have 6.7-inch screens, the A57 is narrower, shorter and slimmer, and its edges are different. Always look for parts listed for SM-A576.
Which colour back cover do I need for my A57?
Samsung sells the A57 in Awesome Navy, Awesome Gray, Awesome Icyblue and Awesome Lilac. These correspond to the OEM back cover colours Navy Blue, Grey, Light Blue and Purple. If in doubt, check the colour shown on the phone's box.
Do I have to replace the whole cover if only the camera glass is broken?
Not necessarily. The camera glass on the A57 can be replaced separately, so the lens and frame part is all you need if the cover is not cracked. If the impact has also broken the rear glass, the complete cover with camera frame fixes both at once.
Will it still be water-resistant after the repair?
This cannot be guaranteed. The original seal is lost when the phone is opened, and the result depends on the adhesive and seals fitted. The safest option is to treat a repaired phone as not water-resistant.
