This category covers parts for the Google Pixel 10a, the mid-range phone Google unveiled in February 2026, with a completely flat rear and Tensor G4 processor. You’ll find the screen, rear cover, ultra-wide camera, camera lens and earpiece speaker. Before buying, check that your phone is a 10a and not a Pixel 9a: they look very similar, but their parts should not be mixed.

Google Pixel 10a: model codes G4H7L, GE1GQ and GV0BP, and how to tell it apart from the Pixel 9a

The Pixel 10a is available under three model codes: G4H7L, GE1GQ and GV0BP. These are regional variants of the same phone (GV0BP is the Japanese version), and Google’s original parts are listed as compatible with all three. If your model code is one of these, you’re in the right category.

The most common mistake is confusing it with the Pixel 9a, which has the same 6.3-inch screen size, processor and cameras with identical resolutions. The quickest way to tell them apart is to look at the rear: on the 10a, the camera module sits flush, while the 9a has a slight bump. The 10a also measures 153,9 x 73,0 x 9,0 mm, compared with 154,7 x 73,3 x 8,9 mm for the 9a, and has a thinner aluminium frame and slightly narrower bezels.

These differences also affect replacement parts. Google uses a different part number for each model’s screen, and even the cases are not interchangeable. Always order parts specifically for the Pixel 10a, even if a part for the 9a looks identical in photos.

The Pixel 10a features a 6.3-inch pOLED Actua display with an optical fingerprint reader

The Google Pixel 10a screen is a 6.3-inch pOLED display with a resolution of 1080 x 2424, a variable refresh rate of 60 to 120 Hz and peak brightness of up to 3.000 nits, protected by Gorilla Glass 7i. An optical fingerprint reader sits beneath it, so unlocking the phone depends directly on the part you install.

The complete screen for Google Pixel 10a is currently available in Original quality, the premium option for anyone looking to retain the original brightness, refresh rate and touch response. Google’s original replacement screens include the fingerprint reader in the assembly; check the product details to confirm what is included with the unit you order.

After installation, Google says the fingerprint sensor must be calibrated using its official Pixel software repair tool. The screen is bonded to the frame with a strong adhesive that can only be removed with heat, so you’ll need fresh adhesive around the entire perimeter when resealing it.

The Google Pixel 10a rear is made of composite plastic and can be removed with heat, without a laser

The Pixel 10a does not have a glass back: its cover is made of composite plastic with a matte finish and is secured to the frame with adhesive around the edge and next to the cameras. It can be removed with heat, without a laser or glass separation, so damage or a crack to the rear can be fixed by replacing this part alone.

The Pixel 10a rear cover is now available in Original quality. The glass camera cover is a separate part bonded to the cover, so check the product details to see whether it is fitted or whether you’ll need to transfer your existing one. Also make sure the colour matches your phone.

The rear cover also provides access to the rear cameras and earpiece speaker. If you’re replacing either of them and the rear cover is scratched or warped, it’s worth replacing it at the same time so you only have to open the phone once.

On the Google Pixel 10a, the 13 MP ultra-wide camera and its protective glass can be replaced separately

The Pixel 10a has two rear cameras: a 48 MP main camera and a 13 MP ultra-wide camera with an f/2.2 aperture, a 1/3,1-inch sensor and a 120° field of view. Each is a separate module, so you can replace only the one that is damaged.

The 13 MP ultra-wide camera for Pixel 10a is currently available in Original quality. Accessing it requires removing the rear cover and motherboard, making this a more involved repair than replacing the rear cover. It makes sense when the fault lies with the sensor itself.

If the damage is limited to the outer glass, there’s no need to touch the sensors. The rear camera lens for Google Pixel 10a, currently available in OEM quality, is the cover bonded to the rear cover with its own adhesive. It’s the more affordable solution when only that glass is broken.

Google Pixel 10a: the earpiece speaker also acts as the second stereo speaker

The Pixel 10a delivers stereo sound by combining the bottom speaker with the earpiece speaker, which is used for music and video as well as calls. If this component stops working, multimedia audio will also lose one of its two channels.

The earpiece speaker for Google Pixel 10a is currently sold in Original quality. It sits at the top of the chassis, is secured with double-sided tape and can be accessed from the rear, behind the motherboard. You don’t need to remove the screen to replace it.

Fingerprint sensor, IP68 and Pixel 9a compatibility: common questions about Pixel 10a parts

Can I fit a Pixel 9a screen in the Pixel 10a?

It is not recommended. Google assigns different part numbers to each screen (G949-01571-00 for the 10a and G949-01306-00 for the 9a), and the 10a has slightly smaller dimensions and bezels. Always look for parts specifically for the Pixel 10a.

Will the fingerprint sensor work after replacing the screen?

The optical reader sits beneath the display, so the replacement part must include it or you’ll need to transfer it. Google advises calibrating it with its official software repair tool after replacement.

Will the Pixel 10a still be IP68-rated after repair?

Google warns that water and dust resistance may be reduced or lost when the phone is taken apart. It is not guaranteed after opening the phone, although applying new adhesive and ensuring the surfaces are clean can help restore the seal.

Do I need to remove the screen to replace the ultra-wide camera or earpiece speaker?

No. On the Pixel 10a, both can be accessed by removing the rear cover, which is secured with adhesive that softens with heat. The screen only needs to be removed if it is the part you’re replacing.

If only the camera glass breaks, do I need to replace the whole rear cover?

Not necessarily. The lens cover is a separate part bonded to the rear cover, so it can be replaced on its own if the cover is still intact.
