The Poco F7 Ultra 24122RKC7G shares a platform with the Redmi K80 Pro, but they are not the same device
The Poco F7 Ultra is the international variant of the Redmi K80 Pro sold in China. Both are based on the same root code, 24122RKC7, and the final letter G identifies the global version. You can check the exact model in your phone’s settings, under device information.
Their similarities do not mean that every part is interchangeable. The Redmi K80 Pro has a 6000 mAh battery, compared with the Poco F7 Ultra’s 5300 mAh, and a 20 MP front camera instead of the 32 MP one. The Poco F7 Pro, almost identical on the outside, uses Snapdragon 8 Gen 3, has no telephoto lens and features an 8 MP ultra-wide camera, so its secondary cameras are not suitable for the Ultra.
The practical rule is simple: a part is listed for several models only when its name specifies all of them, as is the case with the main camera in this category. In all other cases, the part is for the 24122RKC7G.
The Poco F7 Ultra’s 2K panel has an ultrasonic fingerprint reader underneath
The Poco F7 Ultra features a 6.67-inch AMOLED panel with a resolution of 3200 x 1440, a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, peak brightness of 3200 nits and Poco Shield Glass. The ultrasonic fingerprint reader is located underneath; it is the first of its kind in the Poco range and reads your finger using sound waves rather than light.
This reader affects how you choose and install the screen. Xiaomi warns that even an uncertified glass screen protector can impair unlocking, showing how sensitive it is to anything placed on top. After fitting a new screen, it is therefore best to delete the saved fingerprints, register them again and avoid thick screen protectors.
The screen assembly compatible with the Xiaomi Poco F7 Ultra is currently available in OEM quality, which usually costs less than a replacement from the official service centre. Three rear cameras on the Poco F7 Ultra, with only the main camera shared with the F7 Pro
The rear camera setup is the main difference compared with the F7 Pro. Each of the three modules is sold separately, and all are currently available in Original quality:
- 50 MP main camera for Poco F7 Pro and F7 Ultra: Light Fusion 800 sensor, 1/1.55-inch, f/1.6 and optical image stabilisation. It is the only rear camera shared by both models.
- 50 MP telephoto camera for the Poco F7 Ultra: 2.5x optical zoom, f/2.0, optical image stabilisation and close-focus capability. The F7 Pro does not have this module.
- 32 MP ultra-wide camera: f/2.2 with no autofocus. Don’t confuse it with the F7 Pro’s 8 MP camera, which is a different part.
Each focal length has its own sensor, so to find out which module needs replacing, switch between ultra-wide, 1x and 2.5x zoom in the camera app. If only one camera is faulty, you only need to replace that module.
If all three modules work and it’s the outer glass that is broken, the part you need is the rear camera lens for the Poco F7 Ultra, currently available in OEM quality. It is the most affordable option in the entire camera section and covers all three lenses.
Inside the Xiaomi Poco F7 Ultra: two flex cables and the main speaker
The power and volume button flex cable combines the side buttons in a single cable. The Poco F7 Ultra reads fingerprints under the screen, not from the button, so replacing this flex cable does not affect biometric unlocking.
The Poco F7 Ultra motherboard connection flex cable is an internal interconnect cable exclusive to this model. Before ordering, compare its shape and connectors with those of the cable you are replacing.
The main speaker for the Poco F7 Ultra provides almost all of the phone’s volume: the handset combines it with the earpiece to deliver stereo sound with Dolby Atmos. If only the earpiece plays sound when you play content, this is the faulty part. Both flex cables and the speaker are currently available in Original quality.

Will parts for the Redmi K80 Pro fit my phone?
Some may be compatible, as both share the 24122RKC7 root code, but the battery and front camera are different. Always choose parts specifically listed for the Poco F7 Ultra, or ones that clearly name both models.
Will the fingerprint reader still work after replacing the screen?
The ultrasonic reader is under the panel and is highly sensitive to what is placed on top; Xiaomi even warns that uncertified screen protectors can affect it. After the repair, delete the saved fingerprints, register them again and check that the phone unlocks correctly before finishing the job.
Will it retain its IP68 protection after being opened?
The Poco F7 Ultra has a factory IP68 rating, but its water resistance depends on the original seal. Once opened, it cannot be guaranteed to retain the same level of protection, even if new adhesive is applied.
