Here you’ll find the spare parts available for the Oppo Reno 10 5G sold in Europe, with model code CPH2531. This variant features a Dimensity 7050 processor, a 5000 mAh battery and 67 W charging. Its components are not always compatible with those of the Reno 10 Pro or the Chinese edition, sold under the same name. Before placing your order, check the model code and choose the part that matches the function you want to restore.
The European Oppo Reno 10 is the CPH2531, not the Chinese PHW110 or the Reno 10 Pro
You can find the model code in Settings, under About phone, and on the original box. If it says CPH2531, you’re in the right category. In China, a different phone was sold under the Reno 10 name: the PHW110, which has a Snapdragon 778G, a 4600 mAh battery and a slimmer 7.6 mm chassis. Don’t rely on it, even if the images look similar.
The model most often mistaken for this one is the Reno 10 Pro CPH2525. From the outside, it looks almost identical: a 6.7-inch display, 2412 x 1080 resolution and virtually the same dimensions. The processor, battery and charging power differ inside, so don’t assume a part fits both models just because they look alike.
- Reno 10 CPH2531: Dimensity 7050, 5000 mAh, 67 W charging, 7.99 mm thick.
- Reno 10 Pro CPH2525: Snapdragon 778G, 4600 mAh, 80 W charging, 7.89 mm thick.
- Reno 10 China PHW110: Snapdragon 778G, 4600 mAh, 7.6 mm thick.
The Oppo Reno 10’s curved 120 Hz AMOLED display has an under-display fingerprint reader
The Oppo Reno 10 CPH2531 features a 6.7-inch flexible AMOLED display with FHD+ resolution (2412 x 1080), a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz and curved edges. The curved design means the glass and display panel need to match the shape of this chassis. That’s why it’s best to choose a replacement specifically listed for this model.
The fingerprint reader is located at the bottom of the display and detects your finger through the panel itself. Before choosing the complete display compatible with Oppo Reno 10, now available in Premium quality, check the product details to see which display technology it uses. OLED and TFT replacement displays are made for this model. The sensor can read your finger through OLED displays; with TFT displays, fingerprint unlocking generally doesn’t work.
Also bear these original display specifications in mind. It reaches a peak brightness of 950 nits when displaying HDR content and 500 nits in normal use. In addition, the phone has no factory IP rating, so replacing the display doesn’t remove any official water resistance. If you want to retain the 120 Hz refresh rate, brightness and fingerprint reader, check these details in the product description before buying.
The 5000 mAh BLPA05 battery is exclusive to the CPH2531 in the Reno 10 range
The original battery in the Oppo Reno 10 has the part number BLPA05. Oppo specifies two values: a typical capacity of 5000 mAh and a rated capacity of 4870 mAh. If a listing or diagnostic tool shows 4870 mAh, it doesn’t mean the battery is smaller: it’s the same cell measured using a different standard.
The 5000 mAh BLPA05 battery for Oppo Reno 10 is now available in Premium quality. Don’t confuse it with the battery for the Reno 10 Pro CPH2525, which has a capacity of 4600 mAh and supports 80 W charging, or with the one for the Chinese Reno 10 PHW110, which also has a capacity of 4600 mAh. All three phones share a commercial name, but their batteries are not interchangeable.
The battery is built into the phone and cannot be removed by the user without opening it. If you find a cell advertised for the Reno 10 with a different code or a capacity of 4600 mAh, check that it’s for the CPH2531 and not one of its siblings.
The Oppo Reno 10’s USB-C port carries 67 W SUPERVOOC charging
The Oppo Reno 10 CPH2531 supports 67 W SUPERVOOC charging and is also compatible with the PD 3.0 standard. All that power comes in through the USB-C connector at the bottom of the phone. The Reno 10 Pro charges at 80 W and uses a different battery, so a connector listed only for the Pro is not a reliable match for this model.
The USB-C charging port for Oppo Reno 10 is currently available in OEM quality. For the CPH2531, this replacement is available in two formats: a complete charging board or a standalone connector. Each option requires a different level of work. Check the product details to see what’s included and make sure the code CPH2531 is listed.
Frequently asked questions about the fingerprint reader, battery and Oppo Reno 10 models
Will a Reno 10 Pro CPH2525 display fit the Reno 10?
Both models have a 6.7-inch display with 2412 x 1080 resolution, and some suppliers offer the same panel for both models. Oppo doesn’t confirm this cross-compatibility. The safest option is to choose a display specifically listed for the CPH2531.
Why does my Reno 10 show 4870 mAh instead of 5000 mAh?
Oppo specifies two capacities for the BLPA05 battery: 4870 mAh rated and 5000 mAh typical. Both figures refer to the same battery, so it doesn’t mean a lower-capacity battery has been fitted.
How can I tell if I have the Chinese Reno 10 version?
Go to Settings, About phone, and check the model code. The Chinese variant is listed as PHW110 and the European variant as CPH2531. The Chinese version has a different processor and a 4600 mAh battery, so the parts in this category are only for the CPH2531.
Will I still be able to unlock my phone with my fingerprint after replacing the display?
It depends on the display technology: the Reno 10 sensor reads your finger through the display and needs an OLED panel. After replacing the display, delete your saved fingerprints and register them again so the sensor can adapt to the new panel.
