This category brings together spare parts for the Oppo A5 Pro 4G, model code CPH2711, with a Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 1 processor and IP68/IP69 certification, officially sold by Oppo in markets such as Greece, the Philippines and Malaysia. In Spain, the brand sells the 5G version under the same name, so first check which phone you have. Here you will find a screen, battery, main camera, charging connector, speaker and fingerprint reader, with the quality stated on each product page.

CPH2711 vs CPH2695: the Oppo A5 Pro 4G is not the model sold by Oppo Spain

Oppo uses the A5 Pro name for three different phones. The A5 Pro 4G (CPH2711) features a Snapdragon 6s 4G Gen 1 and a 6.67-inch LCD screen with a 90 Hz refresh rate. The A5 Pro 5G (CPH2695), which is distributed by Oppo Spain, has a MediaTek Dimensity 6300 and an LCD of the same size with a 120 Hz refresh rate. There is also a Chinese A5 Pro with a 6.7-inch AMOLED screen and an in-display fingerprint reader: this is a different phone, with a different size and panel technology.

Externally, the 4G and 5G models look almost identical: Oppo lists the same dimensions (164,82 x 75,53 mm), the same screen size and a 50 MP main camera on both. So the reliable way to tell them apart is to go to Settings > About device and check the model, or look at the label on the box. If it says CPH2711, you are in the right category. If it says CPH2695, you have the 5G version.

90 Hz on the Oppo A5 Pro 4G and 120 Hz on the 5G: two screens you should not confuse

The original panel on the A5 Pro 4G is a 6.67-inch LCD with a resolution of 720 x 1604 pixels, a maximum refresh rate of 90 Hz, up to 1000 nits in high brightness mode and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. The 5G version has the same screen size and resolution, but its panel reaches 120 Hz. The service part numbers for each variant are different, so even if they look identical, the touch function and connector are not guaranteed to work if you swap them.

There are two options in our catalogue, both currently available in Premium quality, meaning a compatible replacement at a more affordable price than an official service part:

Since the fingerprint reader on the A5 Pro 4G is located on the side and not under the glass, the screen does not affect fingerprint unlocking. The best way to avoid a return is to check the model code before placing your order.

The Oppo A5 Pro 4G’s 5800 mAh battery: typical capacity, rated capacity and 45 W charging

Oppo specifies a 5800 mAh typical battery (5640 mAh rated, 22,11 Wh) for the CPH2711, with 45 W SUPERVOOC charging. If you see 5640 mAh on one product page and 5800 mAh on another, these are not different parts: both figures come from the manufacturer and refer to the same cell.

The 5800 mAh battery for Oppo A5 Pro 4G is currently available in Premium quality, compatible with the model and in the more affordable price range. Suppliers do not always provide the same cell reference for this phone, so before buying, compare the markings on your battery with the reference shown on the product page.

Side-mounted fingerprint reader, 50 MP camera and USB-C connector: small parts for the CPH2711

The A5 Pro 4G reads fingerprints from the side frame

Oppo places the fingerprint reader on the edge of the frame on the A5 Pro 4G, not under the screen. It therefore has its own cable and can be replaced separately: the fingerprint sensor flex cable for Oppo A5 Pro 4G is currently available in Original quality. Check that your model is CPH2711, as the Chinese A5 Pro has an in-display fingerprint reader.

50 MP main sensor and f/1.8 on the A5 Pro 4G

The rear camera combines a 50 MP main sensor with an f/1.8 aperture and a 2 MP monochrome sensor. The 50 MP main rear camera for A5 Pro 4G is the 50 MP sensor, not the monochrome auxiliary camera, and is currently available in Original quality.

45 W SUPERVOOC charging via USB-C and the CPH2711 main speaker

The A5 Pro 4G charges at 45 W SUPERVOOC through its USB-C connector. The USB charging port for Oppo A5 Pro 4G is available in OEM quality, while the main speaker for Oppo A5 Pro 4G is available in Original quality. Both product pages are for the 4G version: if your phone is the CPH2695, contact us to check compatibility before buying.

Frequently asked questions about the CPH2711: 5G version, IP69 and interchangeable screens

Is my Oppo A5 Pro bought in Spain the 4G model?

If you bought it through Oppo Spain’s official sales channel, it is most likely the CPH2695, the 5G version with Dimensity 6300 and a 120 Hz screen. The CPH2711 is officially sold in other markets, such as Greece and the Philippines. Check in Settings before choosing a screen.

Does the A5 Pro 4G remain water-resistant after a part is replaced?

Out of the box, the phone has IP68 certification, and Oppo states that it passes IP69 high-pressure water jet tests. This protection depends on the original seals and adhesives, so it cannot be guaranteed after opening the phone, regardless of which part is replaced.

Can I install the A5 Pro 5G screen on the A5 Pro 4G?

That is not recommended: the two panels have different refresh rates (90 Hz and 120 Hz) and different service part numbers. Each screen in the catalogue indicates which version it is for, so choose the one that matches your phone’s code.
