This section brings together spare parts for the OnePlus Pad, the brand’s first tablet, unveiled in February 2023 with a MediaTek Dimensity 9000 processor and a Halo Green finish. We currently stock the screen assembly and rear camera lens, the two parts most exposed on a tablet with a unibody aluminium body. Before placing your order, check that your device is the 11.61-inch model and not one of the later models in the Pad range.
The original OnePlus Pad is model OPD2203 and was only sold as a Wi-Fi model
The model number of the OnePlus Pad is OPD2203. You can find it in Settings, under About device, and on the label on the box. This tablet was sold only with Wi-Fi, so there are no 4G or 5G variants with different internal components: if your device has a SIM tray, it is not this model.
The name can cause confusion, as OnePlus has used the Pad name for different generations with screens of other sizes. None of them matches the OPD2203:
- OnePlus Pad (OPD2203): 11.61 inches, 2800 x 2000 pixels, up to 144 Hz.
- OnePlus Pad Go (OPD2304 / OPD2305): 11.35 inches and 90 Hz, with one version featuring mobile connectivity.
- OnePlus Pad 2 (OPD2403): 12.1 inches and a different chassis.
The OPPO Pad 2 (OPD2201 and OPD2202) is another example: it is OPPO’s version of the same tablet, with the same size, resolution, battery and cameras, and some service-parts catalogues group it with the OnePlus Pad. OnePlus Pad: 11.61-inch IPS LCD panel, 144 Hz, 7:5 aspect ratio
The OnePlus Pad features an 11.61-inch IPS LCD panel with a resolution of 2800 x 2000 and a 7:5 aspect ratio, narrower than the 4:3 format used by many tablets. The refresh rate varies between 30 and 144 Hz depending on the content, with a rated brightness of 500 nits and Dolby Vision support. The replacement is sold as a screen assembly, with the LCD and touch layer integrated into a single unit, which is how this part is supplied.
In the listing, you’ll find the 11.61-inch screen assembly for OnePlus Pad, currently available in Original quality. This is the premium option: it is designed to maintain the full resolution, refresh rates of up to 144 Hz and the original panel’s touch response. This is particularly important if you use the OnePlus Stylo to draw or take notes, as the stylus works with the touch layer built into the panel.
Before placing your order, check the OPD2203 model number. With its 11.61-inch 7:5 format, neither the dimensions nor the connector position match those of the Pad Go or Pad 2 screens, even though the three tablets look similar from the outside.
The OnePlus Pad has a 13 MP camera in a circular module in the centre of the back
The back of the OnePlus Pad houses its only 13 MP camera and the LED flash in a circular module in the centre, not in a corner. OnePlus designed it this way so the lens sits in the centre when you use the tablet in landscape orientation. As the shape and diameter of the glass are specific to this model, it’s best to order the lens for the OPD2203 rather than a generic glass lens.
The rear camera lens for OnePlus Pad is currently available in Original quality. This is the part you need if the module’s protective glass is broken, as cracked glass can degrade image quality even when the sensor is working properly. The camera records 4K video at 30 fps, and any marks or cracks on the lens are quite noticeable at that resolution.
Bear in mind that this is the outer lens. If the 13 MP sensor itself is damaged, replacing the lens alone will not fix it, so check exactly which part is damaged before ordering.
Aluminium unibody and face unlock: factors affecting OnePlus Pad repairs
The OnePlus Pad has a unibody aluminium chassis with a glass front and a thickness of 6.54 mm. The back is part of the chassis itself, rather than a separate cover, which is why there is no rear cover replacement in this category: the camera lens is the only external part on that side that can be replaced separately.
The tablet does not have a fingerprint reader. It only offers face unlock via the 8 MP front camera, located in the screen frame. This means you don’t need to worry about any biometric sensor under the panel when choosing a screen. OnePlus does not publish information about screen or camera pairing with the board for this model.
Frequently asked questions about OnePlus Pad OPD2203 spare parts
Is the OnePlus Pad Go or OnePlus Pad 2 screen compatible with my OnePlus Pad?
No. The Pad Go has an 11.35-inch screen and the Pad 2 has a 12.1-inch screen, compared with the OPD2203’s 11.61-inch screen. The dimensions and fit in the chassis do not match, so only the screen made for the OnePlus Pad will fit.
Is this the same tablet as the OPPO Pad 2?
They share the same platform: the same screen size, 2800 x 2000 resolution, 144 Hz, 9510 mAh battery and 13 and 8 MP cameras. However, they are sold under different model numbers (OPD2201/OPD2202 for OPPO and OPD2203 for OnePlus). If you have an OPPO tablet, check with us before ordering a part for the OnePlus Pad.
Will the OnePlus Stylo still work with the new screen?
The Stylo works with the panel’s touch layer, which is integrated into the screen assembly. We therefore recommend checking the stylus’s strokes and pressure as soon as you have completed the installation. If touch works with your finger but not the stylus, first check that the screen connector is properly seated.
Are there OnePlus Pad versions with a SIM and different parts?
No. The OPD2203 was sold only with Wi-Fi, in 8 GB + 128 GB and 12 GB + 256 GB configurations that do not change the external parts. The OPD2304 and OPD2305 model numbers belong to the OnePlus Pad Go, which is a different model.
