The risk of confusion comes from related models:

• OnePlus 13 (CPH2649): the screen is roughly the same size, but has a resolution of 3168 x 1440 and an ultrasonic fingerprint reader. The 13R uses a 2780 x 1264 panel and an optical reader, so neither the screen nor the fingerprint sensor is interchangeable.
• OnePlus Ace 5 (PKG110, Chinese market): it shares the processor and screen resolution, but has a 2 MP macro camera on the rear, while the 13R has a 50 MP telephoto camera. It has not been confirmed that its parts fit the 13R, so we recommend always ordering parts specified for the OnePlus 13R.

The OnePlus 13R combines a 2780 x 1264 LTPO 4.1 panel with a separate fingerprint reader

The 13R comes with a flat 6.78-inch AMOLED display featuring LTPO 4.1 technology, an adaptive refresh rate of 1 to 120 Hz, HDR10+ and Dolby Vision support, peak brightness of up to 4,500 nits and Gorilla Glass 7i. The complete screen for OnePlus 13R is now available in Original quality, the highest grade on the spare parts market for this model, and is intended for anyone who wants to retain the original panel’s features.

This model is available with a frame, matching the phone’s colour, or without a frame. Check the product details before buying to see what is included: if the frame is not included, the screen must be transferred to the phone’s chassis, which affects the repair time in the workshop.

The 13R’s fingerprint reader is optical and works through the panel, unlike the ultrasonic reader in the OnePlus 13. It is a separate module, which is why we sell it separately: the fingerprint sensor with flex cable for OnePlus 13R. If only the screen is damaged, the sensor generally does not need to be replaced, and vice versa. However, the OnePlus 13’s ultrasonic sensor cannot be used with the 13R’s panel.

The OnePlus 13R has a glued glass back cover in Astral Trail or Nebula Black

The rear panel of the OnePlus 13R is made of satin-finish Gorilla Glass 7i and is attached to the chassis with adhesive. No laser is needed: the panel is removed and a new part is fitted with its adhesive seal. The phone comes with an IP65 rating from the factory, which depends on this seal, so water resistance after replacing the back cover cannot be guaranteed.

The complete back cover with camera frame for OnePlus 13R is now available in OEM quality and in two colours:

As the camera frame is already fitted, there is no need to transfer the trim around the rear camera module from the old cover to the new one. It replaces only that window without requiring the complete back cover to be changed.

The OnePlus 13R has a 50 MP Samsung JN5 telephoto camera and a 16 MP front camera

The 13R’s rear camera system has three cameras: a 50 MP Sony LYT-700 main camera with optical image stabilisation, an 8 MP ultra-wide camera and a 50 MP telephoto camera with a Samsung S5KJN5 sensor, f/2.0 aperture and 2x optical zoom. Of these, this category offers the 50 MP telephoto rear camera for OnePlus 13R in Original quality. This is the camera the phone uses when you select 2x, so check which mode is failing before ordering. It is also exclusive to the 13R: the Ace 5 has a 2 MP macro camera instead, so there is no equivalent part for that model.

The 13R charges through a USB-C 2.0 connector that supports 80 W SUPERVOOC charging, and it does not support wireless charging. The connector is therefore the phone’s only charging method. The USB charging port for OnePlus 13R is now available in Original quality.

The 13R’s stereo sound comes from the bottom speaker and the top earpiece, which acts as the second channel. The main speaker for OnePlus 13R is the bottom speaker, which plays hands-free calls, notifications and half of the stereo sound; it is now available in Original quality. I bought my 13R in India and its code is CPH2691. Does it use the same spare parts?

Yes. The manufacturer’s service parts for the 13R are listed as compatible with CPH2691, CPH2645 and CPH2647, so the regional code does not affect which spare part you need.

Can I fit a back cover or screen from the OnePlus Ace 5?

There is no confirmation that they are interchangeable. The Ace 5 has a 2 MP macro camera where the 13R has its telephoto camera, so we recommend avoiding parts not designed for the OnePlus 13R.

Which back cover colour matches my phone?

The 13R was sold in Astral Trail (light) and Nebula Noir (dark). The Nebula Black back cover is for the dark variant.
