Here you’ll find replacement parts for the Motorola Moto G37, the entry-level 5G phone Motorola introduced in 2026 with a 6.67-inch 120 Hz LCD and a fingerprint sensor built into the side button. We currently stock the Original-quality display assembly and the OEM-quality power and volume button flex cable. Both are intended for individuals repairing their own phone as well as repair shops looking to get the right part first time.
Motorola Moto G37 XT2625 codes and how to tell it apart from the G37 Power and G47
The Moto G37 shares the base code XT2625 with two models released at the same time: the Moto G37 Power and the Moto G47. The G37 variants are XT2625-4 and XT2625-5, while the other suffixes belong to the other two phones and some regional editions. So, checking for ‘XT2625’ alone is not enough. The digit after the hyphen identifies the exact model.
To check it, go to Settings > About phone and open the model section or the regulatory labels, where the full code is shown. If the screen is not displaying an image, the IMEI may be printed on the SIM tray and can also be used to identify the device. These are the differences to bear in mind when comparing it with the most similar models:
- Moto G37: 6.67-inch HD+ LCD (1604 x 720) at 120 Hz, 5,200 mAh battery, 7.85 mm thick and 191 g.
- Moto G37 Power: the same screen specifications, but with a 7,000 mAh battery, a thicker chassis (around 8.9 mm) and a weight of 215 g.
- Moto G47: the same screen size and 120 Hz refresh rate, but with Full HD+ resolution, so its panel is not the same as the G37’s.
- Moto G35 (the predecessor): 6.72-inch Full HD+ screen. Both the dimensions and resolution differ from those of the G37.
Which Original or OEM replacement part does your Motorola Moto G37 need?
Original quality for the 120 Hz HD+ LCD
As standard, the G37 has a 6.67-inch IPS LCD with HD+ resolution (1604 x 720), a refresh rate of up to 120 Hz, peak brightness of up to 1,050 nits in high brightness mode and Corning Gorilla Glass 7i. The Original display assembly for Motorola Moto G37 that we sell is Original quality, so it retains the specifications of the original panel: resolution, smooth 120 Hz refresh rate and brightness.
This is the premium option. It’s ideal if you want your phone to look and respond just as it did before the impact, or if you’re a repair shop looking to avoid returns due to differences in image quality or touch response. There’s one practical detail that makes the repair easier: as the fingerprint reader is in the side button, not under the screen, replacing the panel does not affect fingerprint unlocking.
Before ordering, check that your phone’s code is XT2625-4 or XT2625-5. The G37 Power panel has the same specifications, but that model has a thicker chassis. If you’re fitting it to a Power, contact us first. It won’t work in a G47, as its resolution is different.
OEM quality for the side buttons with fingerprint reader
The Moto G37 OEM power and volume button flex cable connects the buttons on the right-hand side to the motherboard. This is the part to replace if a button stops responding when pressed or if the flex cable is damaged during another repair, for example when removing the screen.
On this model, the power button has a built-in fingerprint reader. So it’s worth identifying the fault correctly before ordering: a button that doesn’t click is not the same as a sensor that doesn’t recognise your fingerprint. If the fingerprint reader is the part that’s not working, contact us to find out which part you need. That way, you can avoid ordering a component that won’t fix the problem.
What to know before opening the Moto G37: side fingerprint reader and IP64 sealing
The G37 comes with IP64 dust and splash resistance, as well as MIL-STD-810H certification. IP protection depends on the seals and original adhesive, and after opening the phone, you can’t assume it will retain this protection. If this matters to you, replace the adhesive when closing the phone and bear in mind that water resistance cannot be guaranteed.
Biometrics are handled by two separate components: facial recognition uses the front camera, while fingerprint recognition uses the side button. This means a broken screen won’t prevent fingerprint authentication as long as the button is working. The reverse is also true: a fault in the side flex cable can stop the fingerprint reader from working even if the screen is in perfect condition. Bear this in mind when diagnosing the fault before choosing a replacement part.
Frequently asked questions about Motorola Moto G37 replacement parts
Can I fit a Moto G35 or Moto G47 screen to my G37?
No. The G35 has a 6.72-inch Full HD+ panel, and the G47, although the same size, also has Full HD+ resolution. The G37 needs a 6.67-inch HD+ panel like the one in our Original display assembly.
Will the fingerprint reader stop working if I replace the screen?
The fingerprint reader is in the power button, not under the glass, so it isn’t part of the screen assembly. If the fingerprint reader wasn’t working before the repair, check the side button.
My phone says XT2625. Is it definitely a G37?
Not necessarily. That base code is shared by the G37, G37 Power and G47. Check the suffix: G37 models are XT2625-4 and XT2625-5.
Will it still be water-resistant after replacing a part?
The IP64 rating applies to the factory seal. We can’t guarantee it once the phone has been opened, even if you apply new adhesive. Avoid exposing it to water after the repair.
