In this category, you’ll find components for the Honor X5c, the entry-level model Honor introduced in 2025 with a MediaTek Helio G81 processor and MagicOS 9.0 on Android 15. Its chassis matches that of the Honor X5c Plus, so some parts are listed under either model name. Before ordering, check your phone’s model code and the compatibility information shown on each product page.
Honor X5c and X5c Plus share the NLA-LX code family
Both models are based on the same internal platform, and all their codes start with NLA. The suffix varies by region and version, and is the most reliable way to identify your phone, since both models have the same external dimensions (167 x 77 x 7.9 mm) and weigh 186 g.
- NLA-LX2: Honor X5c sold in some markets in the Middle East and Africa.
- NLA-LX3: Honor X5c distributed in Latin America.
- NLA-LX1: the common European variant, which the system recognises as Honor X5c Plus.
- NLA-LX2P: Honor X5c Plus in other markets.
The commercial name and code are shown in Settings > About phone and on the box label. If the code starts with NLA, parts in this category are compatible with your chassis; if it starts with a different prefix, it is not an X5c, even if it looks similar.
The most common mistake is confusing it with the Honor X5b (GFY codes), which has a 6.56-inch screen, or the Honor X6c (NIC codes), which has a 6.61-inch 120 Hz panel. Neither screen is suitable for the X5c, as both the diagonal and resolution are different.
The Honor X5c features a 6.74-inch LCD with a 90 Hz refresh rate
The X5c comes with a 6.74-inch TFT LCD panel with HD+ resolution of 1600 x 720 pixels and a refresh rate of up to 90 Hz. The refresh rate is determined by the panel itself, so it’s the key specification to check when choosing a replacement. The fingerprint reader is not under the glass, however, so replacing the screen does not affect biometric unlocking.
The complete screen for Honor X5c is currently available in Original quality. It is an assembly with the LCD, touchscreen and glass already joined together, so there’s no need to separate layers or fit a loose glass panel. Original quality matches the panel specified by Honor for this model, with its HD+ resolution and 90 Hz refresh rate. It sits at the higher end of the price range compared with compatible panels, which are the more affordable option.
Before buying, check the product page to see whether the assembly includes a frame. If an impact has bent the chassis or deformed the corners, a screen without a frame will not fit properly; if the chassis is intact, the front assembly is sufficient. In the replacement parts market, this same assembly is listed for both the X5c and X5c Plus, which makes sense given that they share the same diagonal, resolution and refresh rate.
The Honor X5c fingerprint reader is in the side power button
Honor places the fingerprint sensor in the side power button on both the X5c and X5c Plus. The sensor reads your fingerprint from the button itself, and its signal travels to the board via a flex cable, so this part is unrelated to the screen: if an impact has damaged both the glass and the side of the phone, you’ll need two different replacement parts.
The Honor X5c Plus fingerprint sensor flex is currently available in Original quality. It is sold under the Plus name because that is the more widely available variant in Europe (NLA-LX1), and both models share the same housing and sensor position. If your phone is an NLA-LX2 or NLA-LX3, check the product page for compatibility or contact us before ordering, as these variants are sold outside Europe.
After replacing the sensor, Honor recommends registering your fingerprints again if recognition is unreliable, and adding more than one finger as a backup. This is a settings adjustment, not a fault with the part.
Honor X5c compatibility with the X5c Plus, X5b and X6c: four answers
Does the Honor X5c screen fit the X5c Plus?
Both models have a 6.74-inch, 1600 x 720, 90 Hz LCD, and the replacement parts market lists the same assembly for both. Even so, check that your code (NLA-LX1, LX2, LX2P or LX3) appears on the product page before ordering.
Can I fit a screen from an Honor X5b or X6c?
No. The X5b uses a 6.56-inch panel and the X6c uses a 6.61-inch 120 Hz panel. Both have a different resolution and glass size, so they will not fit the front of the X5c.
Will I lose fingerprint recognition if I replace the X5c screen?
No, the screen does not affect it: the sensor is in the side power button and does not depend on the panel. If fingerprint recognition stops working after the repair, check the sensor flex.
How can I tell an X5c from an X5c Plus if my code is NLA-LX1?
In Europe, the NLA-LX1 appears as X5c Plus in Settings > About phone. This distinction does not affect your choice of screen or fingerprint sensor, as both models share the same body; the Plus version is distinguished by its memory configurations and finishes.
