In this section, you’ll find replacement parts for the Apple iPhone 17e: screen, battery, back cover, camera, flex cables and charging port, available in Original, OEM and Premium quality. The range is designed for both individuals repairing their own phone and repair shops that need to restock parts. Inside, it’s practically an iPhone 16e, although the back cover has a MagSafe magnetic ring, and that detail determines which part you need to order.

A3634, A3575 or A3635: how to identify an Apple iPhone 17e

In Spain and the rest of Europe, the model sold is the A3634. The A3575 is for the United States, Canada, Japan, Mexico and several Gulf countries, while the A3635 is for mainland China. To check yours, go to Settings > General > About and tap the number next to Model: the code beginning with M will change to one beginning with A.

The most common mistake is confusing it with the iPhone 16e (A3212, A3408, A3409 and A3410). Both have a 6.1-inch notched screen, a single rear camera and identical dimensions. There are two external clues: the soft pink colour is only available on the 17e, and if a MagSafe accessory attaches to the back, you’re looking at a 17e. If in doubt, check the A code.

Original, OEM and Premium quality in the Apple iPhone 17e range

60 Hz OLED panel and the Premium option

The original screen is a 6.1-inch OLED Super Retina XDR (2532 x 1170 pixels) at 60 Hz, with a peak brightness of up to 1200 nits in HDR. It does not include a fingerprint reader, as unlocking is done using Face ID. Our complete compatible screen for iPhone 17e is Premium quality, a replacement option that costs less than the official part.

iOS identifies non-original screens and lists them as an Unknown Part under Settings > General > About. Apple also warns that True Tone and the ambient light sensor may not work correctly with a non-genuine panel. The front camera and Face ID sensors are not part of the complete screen: they remain in the chassis.

4005 mAh battery with electrically removable adhesive

The original battery has a capacity of 4005 mAh (15,556 Wh), the same as the iPhone 16e. It is secured with electrically removable adhesive, which releases when current is applied, and can be accessed from the back without removing the screen. This means there’s no need to lever against the cell, making replacement quicker.

The 4005 mAh Premium battery for iPhone 17e is compatible and has the model’s full capacity. As it is not an original part, iOS will display a Battery Not Verified or Unknown Part warning, and the reported battery health percentage may not be accurate. Bear this in mind if the person using the phone wants to check this information.

Rear glass with MagSafe ring, wireless charging and flash

The OEM back cover with magnetic ring and wireless charging is supplied as an assembly and includes the camera frame, magnetic ring, wireless charging coil and flash, in White and Black. As everything comes pre-assembled, there’s no need to transfer the magnets or coil from the damaged cover.

Replacing the back cover on this model is fairly straightforward. It is removed from the back by unscrewing two bottom screws and releasing the clips and adhesive, with no laser and no need to remove the screen. New adhesive is needed to close it. Don’t confuse it with the 16e cover: it fits the same chassis, but has no magnets, so MagSafe accessories won’t stay attached.

Camera, flex cables and charging

Paired Face ID and a USB-C port that’s difficult to reach on the iPhone 17e

The TrueDepth Face ID module is linked to the logic board. In tests swapping parts between phones, the front camera continued to take photos, but Face ID stopped responding. The module must therefore stay with its phone and must not be damaged during the repair. Original parts are recognised after completing the iOS Repair Assistant.

The charging port is the most involved repair on this model. It sits beneath several components and requires the logic board to be removed, unlike the iPhone 17. This is a job for an experienced repair shop, and the original water resistance cannot be guaranteed after the phone has been opened.

Frequently asked questions about the Apple iPhone 17e and iPhone 16e parts

Will an iPhone 16e battery or screen work in the 17e?

The batteries share the same capacity and form factor, and the screens have the same size and resolution, so they fit physically. Even so, we recommend choosing the part listed for the 17e. Face ID is the exception: it cannot be transferred from one phone to another.

Will I lose Face ID if I replace the screen?

Not because of the replacement itself: the Face ID sensors are not part of the complete screen and remain in the phone. Face ID will only stop working if the TrueDepth module is damaged when opening the phone or replaced with one from another phone.

Where can I check whether a part is listed as non-original?

Go to Settings > General > About and check the Parts and Service History. There you’ll see Original, Used or Unknown Part for the screen, battery and cameras.
