- Always, before starting, turn off the iPhone 11 (or any model you are going to repair).
- Then, discharge yourself from static electricity. This is very important because if you touch the flex connector to the board with your hands and you have accumulated energy, it can break the screen. So, be careful with this.
- Get a hairdryer or a heat gun to remove the screen.
- Start by heating the sides of the screen. Stay no less than 5 centimeters away and do not stay more than 2 seconds in the same place. Heat it while moving it. The goal is for the adhesive to come off the screen.
- With the picks from our kit, you can insert them on the side. When they are inside, move them up and down to detach it.
- Do this with all four sides of the iPhone 11.
- Once the sides are detached, heat the center of the screen. Here you have to be faster and more careful.
- Then use the suction cup to completely detach the screen.
- When the broken iPhone 11 screen is completely detached, disconnect the flex and you can finally remove it.
- Clean the phone from the remains of adhesive. Now you are going to put the new one.
- Connect the flex cables to the motherboard, very carefully and try not to touch the copper terminals.
